WHAT ARE YOUR RATES ?
Our pricing starts from €2,000 (excluding tax + 20% French VAT).
This includes the full technical setup for the main room (dinner / ballroom): professional sound system, lighting (LED bars and moving heads), a venue-themed DJ booth, full-day DJ performance (from noon until 4:00 am), complete DJ equipment (DJ decks, DMX controller, microphones…),
and one night of accommodation near the venue.
Please note: this is a starting package. Regardless of whether the venue already has equipment, we generally provide a tailor-made setup to ensure optimal quality, as we operate exclusively with our own professional gear.
Every wedding is unique and requires a dedicated setup.
This package covers the main room only, and additional equipment will be required for other areas depending on their layout (indoor / outdoor) and the number of guests.
Not included in this package:
Technical setup for additional spaces: religious ceremony, secular ceremony, cocktail hour (DJ only, DJ + musician, or live band)
Architectural lighting: uplighting of façades, walls, beams, columns, ceilings…
Decorative or dynamic lighting: string lights, vintage bulbs, additional moving heads…
Extra services: photobooth, audio phonebooth, video projection package…
Artistic services: musicians (saxophones, violin, classical ensembles…), close-up magicians, live bands from duos to sextets (jazz, pop, soul-funk, international hits…)
IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE A DJ ONLY FOR THE DANCE PARTY?
To ensure the success of your event—and especially the success of the dance party—we strongly recommend having the DJ accompany you throughout each key moment of your day (ceremony, cocktail, dinner, dance party).
This allows us to build a real connection with your guests, create the right musical atmosphere at every stage, and perfectly match your musical expectations.
For a truly memorable evening, warmth and conviviality are essential.
It is still possible to book the DJ only for the dance party, particularly for weddings abroad where the DJ does not need to install equipment and simply arrives with his DJ decks and laptop.
Our standard DJ service covers the entire day, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 am, with the DJ fully dedicated to your wedding.
WHAT ARE THE KEY MUSICAL MOMENTS OF MY WEDDING THAT SHOULD NOT BE OVERLOOKED?
Your wedding day is made up of several highlight moments, each carrying its own emotional impact and often marked by a specific piece of music:
- Ceremony: Entrance of the bride and groom, speeches, and the recessional at the end of the ceremony.
- Cocktail: The bouquet toss, usually held in the middle or at the end of the cocktail hour.
- Dinner: The grand entrance of the newlyweds into the reception room, once all guests have been seated.
- Cake / Champagne Fountain: A festive transition marking the end of dinner and the beginning of the party.
- First Dance: An intimate moment for the couple that officially opens the dance floor (sometimes performed just before or during dessert).
Each of these moments plays a crucial role in shaping the rhythm and atmosphere of your wedding day, and should be thoughtfully prepared to ensure a seamless and memorable experience.
WHAT ABOUT THE MICROPHONE ANNOUNCEMENTS MADE BY YOUR DJS?
All our DJs are also MCs (Masters of Ceremonies).
They are fully able to guide the flow of your evening by presenting the key moments, introducing speakers, making announcements when needed, and energizing the guests at the right times.
Within our agency, however, mixing skills and musical curation always take priority over heavy microphone use.
Our philosophy is simple: when the music is well programmed and the transitions are smooth, microphone animation becomes optional.
You will therefore never hear our DJs constantly talking over the music, interrupting the atmosphere, or asking guests to perform gimmicky group activities.
Our approach remains elegant, discreet and refined, ensuring that the focus stays on the celebration—not on the DJ’s voice.
COULD YOU TAKE CARE OF THE ENTIRE ORGANIZATION OF A WEDDING?
Yes, it is possible. Wedding DJ is the wedding-dedicated division of the event and artistic agency M8TE.
While our core expertise lies in the full management of the artistic and technical aspects of your event, we are also able to oversee the broader coordination of your wedding day.
This includes the full organization of the DJ performance, as well as the management of live bands, musicians, performers, and any artistic acts involved in your celebration. We also handle all the related technical production (sound, lighting, video) required for these performances.
In addition, our agency can facilitate coordination with all other wedding vendors and service providers, such as:
wedding planners, photographers, videographers, floral designers, décor teams, bar and cocktail services, caterers, photobooths, and venue scouting (estates, châteaux, hotels…).
In such a configuration, we act as your primary point of contact, ensuring the global management of your wedding while delegating each mission to the appropriate professional.
We collaborate with a wide network of trusted venues and wedding partners with whom we maintain long-standing relationships.
WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC DO YOU PLAY?
All our DJs are All-Style (also known as “Generalist” or “Open Format” DJs).
They have extensive musical knowledge across all genres and all decades—from the last 50 to 60 years—and adapt their selections to each moment of your wedding as well as to your personal preferences.
Our objective is to create a musical experience that reflects your tastes while offering a wide variety of genres to bring all your guests together on the dance floor when the time comes.
No matter your favourite styles or artists, we will make sure you feel represented throughout the evening.
At the same time, it is important to remember that your own musical tastes may differ from those of your guests—so everyone should be able to find something they enjoy.
That’s where our expertise and experience come in. We strike the perfect balance to ensure an unforgettable and unifying celebration.
